With the excitement that this brings, there is much to consider before moving forward with purchasing a home. The condition of the house is not always equal to the price of the property. Proper assessment of the exterior and interior including but not limited to everything from the foundation to the electrical systems should be performed by a certified professional. If you are in the process of purchasing a new or your next home, then you are in the right place.

Wires, wires, wires?? Dead wires, split wires, and unlabeled wires can turn a beautiful property into a nightmare for a new home owner. Imagine plugging up a brand new 55 inch TV (or larger), only to hear a pop or no electricity at all. This is only one of many problems that we thoroughly examine and test with voltage testers and meters. In our report, we will reveal any fire hazards, faulty wiring or exposed cabling.
Roof age and damage is very important factor
to consider when purchasing a home. A
replacement roof could cost upwards of
$10,000. It can be greatly affected by storms
over the years that chip away at the gritty
surface of the shingles. There are various
types of roofs and we will closely
inspect the integrity of the roof from the ground or from a ladder. Additionally, from our assessment, you will be able to make a proper decision on how much roof-life remains and if the home was built more than 15 years ago. In our detailed report, if the information can be obtained from the seller or other documentations and we report the age of
the roof.
Water flow is critical in a new home. Low water pressure in a house can affect bathing, cooking, and even your outside sprinklers. Rusty pipes, rotting plumbing, or an over-pressured water heater are all potential issues when searching for a new home. We have the experience to check your property for proper water flow and provide recommendations for any repairs that need to be made.

What’s Being Said
What was your biggest hurdle when purchasing your home?
The biggest hurdle when purchasing my home was ensuring that the Builder reached each milestone at the time projected during the build process. While we were able to meet the overall deadline as promised, it was evident that the final details were rushed.
How would you explain my service to a friend; what it meant to you?
I would tell a friend that Mr. Bell was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. The service left me feeling confident that the house was in a satisfactory condition, and that Mr. Bell thoroughly pointed out the key areas where attention was required.

Mr. Bell was punctual upon arrival and took the time to explain to me those items that needed attention. Furthermore, Versitile uses the latest technology to submit the report back to the homeowner within a very timely manner, which is quite important for a warranty.

What was your biggest hurdle when purchasing your home?

Our purchase process was really good. If I had to pick something, I would say the financing part can be a bit challenging. You never know exactly how much you need at closing until the day of closing. So, it’s impossible to plan for. Other than that, the process was smooth and quick for us.

Mr. Bell was detailed and thorough with his report. We knew a lot about the house before purchasing additionally, he explained that everything might not be visible. His upfront and honest approach combined with a great detailed report really helped us make one of the best decisions we’ve made in our lives.

Mr. Bell isn't just a home inspector, he's a home owner with a family. The reason I mention this is because, the experience in his own life translates to his business. He treats the job as if he was purchasing it for his own family. This allows him to provide the honest, professional feedback that makes VHI so awesome! I would recommend him to anyone who asks.

I honestly didn't have any hurdles while purchasing my home. If I have to choose one I'd say was just scheduling everything with coming back from overseas.

How would you explain my service to a friend; what it meant to you?

The overall service was thorough and educational. I learned things to look for that I didn't even think of looking for. To me that meant a lot to be talked through things to look for and what things I should have fixed before signing for a house.
